The residence is conceived as two elements; a solid concrete base as the entry to the home and a perforated brass and timber box as the home's private areas. Between these contrasting cool and warm elements is a negative space forming an open living platform and containing the concrete cantilevered glass bottom pool. The perforated private box has a brass mesh screen that opens at different apertures to allow the control of views, light, texture and ventilation.
