The proposed master plan sets out the key concept, principles, and objectives for the future development of the Dubbo Healthcare Campus. The proposal aims to lay out a long-term vision focusing on the opportunity to create a leading medical precinct that complements the adjoining Dubbo Base Hospital and provides a range of uses which benefits the wider Dubbo and regional community. The proposal will have an integrated campus feel, with six stages of buildings surrounding a central civic space. The mixed-use scheme includes health care being a day surgery, professional consulting rooms and ancillary supporting uses of limited retailing, education focusing on healthcare-based training, office premises, seniors living, respite day care centre and childcare centre.
