Luxury residential apartments comprising three individual full-floor apartments positioned only seconds from Clovelly Beach and opposite the Clovelly Hotel. The cantilevered balconies are shaped to consider the different setbacks of the neighbouring dwellings and the site's irregular shape and enable users to interact with the street.   This development continues the language of three-storey apartment buildings while providing a modern, sculptural contribution to the public domain. It was designed to mitigate any adverse impacts from the Hotel - not to shut out the Hotel but interact with it and the street. Considering the surrounding context, SRH Architecture has achieved four times as much floor space as the existing conditions. The design responds by pushing envelopes while retaining privacy and solar access through strategically placed openings and providing sweeping ocean views and across the valley.
