3 Knox Street proposes a mixed-use development comprising ground floor retail, three floors of commercial and two floors of residential apartments in a prime position with street, lane and pedestrian arcade frontages. The proposal aims to enhance the active retail and laneway frontages found throughout Double Bay.
The design responds directly to tight site constraints by building to the boundary to maximise usable floor space. Considered planning for both commercial and residential floors is coupled with detailed and considered facade elements to address privacy to adjacent buildings as well as thermal comfort.
